Inspired by our favourite shape: the circle, these lightweight hoop earrings evolved from Article 22 classic bangle bracelets. Available in silver tone and gold tone.

How do they get the Gold Tone? Gold anodization of aluminum hoop - Anodising is an electrochemical process which converts the metal surface into a decorative, durable, corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant oxide layer. It cannot chip or peel. Article22 do not use pigments, but metals to obtain the gold colour. Gold anodizing is therefore extremely UV resistant and will remain sparkling for a long time. Please note colour for the gold tone may vary due to the hand made nature of the earrings. The imperfections are consistent with the handmade feel of our pieces.
