"What a beautiful idea to turn something so negative into something positive" -Emma Watson

These earrings are the definition of sustainable: environmentally, they are upcycled from shrapnel and debris, culturally, they are made by fair trade Laotian artisans who developed this craft technique in the 1970s, and socially, men and women work side by side at homemade earthen kilns in their gardens.

Emma Watson wore these earrings and told the story of Article 22 jewellery on The Ellen Show as part of her Beauty and the Beast The Press Tour, promoting sustainable and ethical fashion brands.

Made from Article 22 signature transformed metal, finished with sterling silver. These earrings are effortlessly chic, super lightweight and comfortable to wear.

Each piece of Article 22 jewellery supports traditional Laotian artisan livelihoods, village development, community endeavours and further de-mining efforts. Contrubuting to MAG (Mines Advisory Group) to safely & expertly clear some of the 80 million unexploded bombs contaminating land in Laos.
